| This Ted Williams autographed official American League (President Bobby Brown) baseball has a beautiful snow white color with clean blue stampings and a bold blue ink signature on the sweet spot. Small hand-numbering to the bottom right of the American League Bobby Brown stamping has been whited out, which is barely noticeable. This numbering was done for Williams balls signed for Gallen Sports Productions, which conducted signings with Williams a couple of decades ago. The whitening was done before we purchased the ball, but we are familiar enough with the Gallen edition of Williams balls to know what is under it (likely a four-digit number in blue ink).
Given that Mantle, Williams, and DiMaggio are probably the most common targets for forgers, authentic Williams signatures like this one are always nice to come across.
